Jolly Rogers All That Jazz

Jazzy, or Jasmine as we call her, is one of the original 3 does we purchased from Jolly Rogers Goats. Her dam has been 1x Grand Champion Junior, 1x Grand Champion Senior, 2 x best udder.

Jazzy was first freshened in June 2009 with the birth of a doeling and buckling we dubbed 'Ella' and 'Fitzgerald'. She has given a consistent 3 - 4 pounds of milk during her once a day milking. We look forward to breeding her for 2012 freshening.

Jolly Rogers Twila

Twila gave us our first experience with milking after her first freshening in April, 2010 with two doelings. Thank goodness for her sweet nature and patience with us newbies! Her well attached udder is reminiscent of her dam, Jolly Rogers Serendipity. Serendipity has done well in the show ring with 2 x Grand Champion Senior, 1x reserve Grand Champion Senior and 3x best udder.

Twila has two doelings with her second freshing in April 2011. They both have inherited Fitzgerald's hazel eye color and his long legs! Their coloring however, definitely comes from mom. As with the first freshing, Twila has blessed us with more of her delicious milk.

Penelope-Estelle gave birth to a doeling and buckling on March 21, 2011. She has been a great and attentive mom so far. This Is her first freshening and we are looking forward to trying out her milk!
